Do You Know What To Do On Your First Date

The art of asking a girl out

In order to get a girl to go out with you, you need to get rid the idea of asking her out. Confused?

By thinking too much about the best approach on how to ask a girl out, you are compounding the issue because:

- It’s a dead giveaway. She knows you like her, giving her an upper hand in the game.

- If she says “yes”, all the expectations, pressures and defenses are up.

- If she says “no”, then you would have to deal with the awkwardness that follows and of course the sting of rejection.

Rather than asking her out on a date, why not just casually invite her to hang out. Once I get a yes, then I tell myself to take note of several key points. Let me give you a sneak peak.

Things to Avoid

No Movies and Expensive Restaurants – this normally does not give you any favorable results, plus it can be quite pricey. Since you can’t talk much inside a movie house, you might as well have brought her to a library, at least it’s free. Eating at expensive restaurants entails so much formality that adds more pressure and keeps each other’s defenses up. Movies and restos can limit both your abilities to act normally.

Spending too much money on a girl on your first date translates to “you trying to impress her”, which should not be the case.

Don’t include your Family and Friends – A date spent with your family or friends is really not a date and will just breed the feeling of awkwardness between the two of you.

Things to do on a first date.

Hang out – Keep things simple and stress free. Though many might say to bring your date to a restaurant, i think I have made myself clear that I don’t recommend going for that option. Women dig casual and cheap thrills because it allows them to be comfortable. Also, this gives you the opportunity to turn the tables on her and let her prove how much fun she is to talk to and hang out with.

Bring her to a coffee shop or a cocktail lounge where you always hang out. You can also ask her to help you shop for a present.

Daytime dates are always nice as you have more options to chose from. Most importantly, you’ll encounter and see a lot of things that will provide you with fun and interesting conversation topics. It makes everything unpredictable and spontaneous, which is more fun!

Show Her Where You Live – This may be an unusual first date advice but believe me, it works. Pretend to forget something at your house and invite her in. Leave her for a few minutes while you “look” for the thing you forgot. The rationale behind this is that if things go well, inviting her over in the future won’t be that awkward.

Be Punctual and Dress Appropriately – No explanation needed here I think.

Let her Talk More – refrain from asking questions answerable by yes or no. As for drama, throw it out the window. Focus on her alone. Also, act like you also want her to impress you.

How to End Your Date – keep the date to a minimum of 2 hours. Make sure that you’re the one who ends the date in order not to create the notion that you are chasing after her. Crucial first date advice: end the date at its peak so as to make her look forward to the next one.
